Here we go… jumping into the blog world again. See, this is not my first blog. We started a blog about our “Adventures” as a family… Well, we DO take adventures, just not as many as I had envisioned… and definitely not enough to have content for our blog.
So alas, I set my blogging aside for a while.
But the inner writer in me has been dying to get out for a while. I just didn’t know what I should blog about. My dad has told me for YEARS I should be blogging all the little projects that I do. For instance, I have made my family’s and extended family’s Christmas present every year since my nephew was born. He is over 6 ft now!! So, this whole DIY and decor thing isn’t new… actually, now that I think about it, I should see how many picture we have taken over the years of all the things I have made… (oh, and I really like to interrupt my own train of thought, so ya better get used to that one, lol)
I started adding decor things to my personal Instagram a few months ago and I have had more feedback from that than anything I have ever done (even my trusty, #ootd stories)!
Decor is fun and I literally change my house at LEAST once a week (you can ask my husband, and he would probably say it’s even more than that)! I started Kaylor Abode Instagram account last week and almost have 100 followers… but the coolest part about that is that the majority of these followers are all from Instagram, not from my personal life! SO I am SUPER excited about where this is going to lead.
Now, to get this ball rolling… I have made a HUGE commitment to blog two times a week and post 100 posts on Instagram in 100 day! And HALF of those have to be Reels (dun, dun, duuunnnn)!
This task is already stretching me! I am 13 posts in and just got this blog set up. I. am learning more about myself everyday and learning that starting something up like this isn’t for the faint at heart. Will you cheer me along for these first 100 days? I need all the support I can get!
