Welcome

Since I got my first place, I have always been one to create a space. Whether funky, boho, country, or minimal, my spaces have taken on a life of their own. I design things around what we have. Whether a little or a lot, depending on season of life (and we have had many different seasons of life). Originally from Texas, my family and I are living abroad in New Zealand! Josh (my husband), Jovie, Juliette, Josephine (Phinny for short), & Jessalyn (yes, we are all J’s… how very Southern of us, lol) took off on an adventure! What all the spaces we have lived in have in common is that I take our abode and turn it into a home.

Would you try this? • I have wanted quirky art f Would you try this? • I have wanted quirky art for some time, but I just couldn't bring myself to destroy a piece of art that someone had painted! BIG NEWS! • Kaylor Abode is moving to TEXAS!! M BIG NEWS! • Kaylor Abode is moving to TEXAS!! More details over @jenkaylor_ • We are moving to be closer to family, but Kaylor Abode is making the move too! This space is gonna be a little bit different in the next two months as we completely downsize to what we can fly with… then we will be living in a tiny house for a year 😱 (and updating it along the way)! There are going to be so many new projects and LOTS of decorating on a budget as we once again build our home back to the coziness we love! This dresser went from being a worn out vintage piece to a modern, apothecary vibe, show stopper! • I used my fave paint from @fusionmineralpaint that I bought through @troupesandwyatt_ here in NZ • Also, BONUS… I sold it for $400!
